In the method for predicting the spatial orientation of a hydraulic fracturing crack, immediately before hydraulic fracturing is carried out at the hydraulic fracturing well and in the drainage zone of each of the wells of the development system element, reservoir pressure is determined, a map of the distribution of reservoir pressure is built within the development system element in which the hydraulic fracturing well is located, with the help of which, before hydraulic fracturing, the maximum reservoir pressures for the drainage zones of the wells of the development element are determined and in the direction of these wells, the priority direction for the development of hydraulic fracturing cracks is established.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of hydraulic fracturing planning and determination of the spatial orientation of hydraulic fracturing cracks without involving expensive microseismic and geophysical studies.
