FIELD: electric submersible pump sealing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for sealing an electric submersible pump at the wellhead and a device for its implementation. The method includes pulling the cable through the channels in the wellhead fitting and the device for sealing the cable, and filling the internal space of the device with a sealing material with its subsequent hardening. The device contains a hollow cylindrical body with a thread, a side hole and a check valve. At the ends of the case, internal and external pressure washers are installed in series, abutting against the ledges of the case and pressed by pressure nuts, or one washer with a groove along the circumference and radial holes to the cable. Elastic seals are installed between one washer with a groove along the circumference and radial holes up to the cable in the middle of the body and the pressure nuts. Between the internal pressure washers or between one washer, made with a groove along the circumference and radial holes to the cable and pressure washers, there is an internal cavity of the device. A union nut is installed on the bottom of the case. The inner and outer washers are made with a hole that follows the shape of the cable profile. Cable runs inside the case.

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of sealing the cable without cutting it into cores.
