FIELD: oil and gas.

SUBSTANCE: wellhead cable gland compression unit is claimed. The compression unit includes top and bottom support flanges. The lower flange is configured for supporting from below on the protrusion of the cable gland housing. The upper flange is configured for supporting from above on the clamping sleeve, and the tie bolts inserted into the process holes of the corresponding flanges, with clamping nuts. The holes in the upper flange are made of a larger diameter than the diameter of the tie bolts, and the lower flange is made in the form of a pair of sliding outward-curved jaws connected through a rotary axis with the corresponding handles, one of which is equipped with a rotary adjusting bolt inserted into the hole of the other handle, outside of which there is an adjusting nut screwed onto the adjusting bolt to compress the handles and jaws to a position where the distance between the ends of the jaws inside is greater than the diameter of the housing, and the maximum distance inside between the bends of the jaws is less than the diameter of the protrusion of the cable gland housing, for resting on the protrusion from below.

EFFECT: making a wellhead cable gland compression unit, which allows working with various cable gland sizes, providing an increase in the service life of the cable gland seal.
