FIELD: paper.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a paper product and a method for production of the paper product, including: providing a forming mesh; bringing the forming mesh to rotation so that the upper surface of the forming mesh moves in the machine direction; providing a multi-layered headbox including a first and a second intake collectors and a layer outlet; introducing a first aqueous suspension of the first fibres into the first intake collector and a second aqueous suspension of the second fibres into the second intake collector; combining the flows of the first and second aqueous suspensions, forming a jet exiting through the layer outlet; directing the jet to the upper surface of the forming mesh, forming a web; bringing the forming mesh to oscillatory motion in the transverse direction relative to the machine direction, resulting in at least a significant amount of the first fibres being oriented in a direction diverging from the machine direction; and producing a paper product from the web.
EFFECT: produced paper product exhibits high bending stiffness and strength in the transverse direction.
