FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to fine polyamide particles and to a method for their production. Fine polyamide particles are obtained as a result of polymerization of polyamide monomer (A) in the presence of polymer (B) at a temperature equal to or more than a temperature of crystallization of obtained polyamide, where polyamide monomer (A) and polymer (B) are homogeneously dissolved at the beginning of polymerization, and fine polyamide particles are deposited after polymerization. Polymer (B) is at least one polymer selected from polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, polytetramethylene glycol, copolymer of polyethylene glycol-polypropylene glycol and their alkyl simple ester. The square of difference of solubility parameters between monomer (A) and polymer (B) is in the range from 0.1 to 25. The square of difference of solubility parameters between polyamide and polymer (B) is in the range from 0.1 to 16. Obtained fine polyamide particles are characterized by an average-numbered particle size in the range from 0.1 to 100 mcm, sphericity of 90 and more, an index of particle distribution by size of 3.0 and less, linseed oil absorption of 100 ml/100g and less, and a crystallization temperature of 150°C and more.

EFFECT: present invention provides for a simple method for producing fine polyamide particles characterized by high crystallization temperature, smooth surface, narrow particle distribution by size and high sphericity.
