FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: infusion tube for use in a vitreal ophthalmic operation is made with the possibility of connection to a cannula to penetrate the eyeball. At the same time, the infusion tube contains an insertion part to be inserted, during the connection to the cannula, inside a cannula piercing part, wherein the insertion part is a cannula part for the penetration to the eyeball. In this case, the insertion part is shorter than the cannula piercing part. The cross section of the insertion part has an arc shape, from which part of the circumference is cut out.
EFFECT: use of this invention will allow for obtaining higher flow rate than with the infusion tube of a common type and for easily performing the connection to the cannula that is attached to the eyeball.
