FIELD: cosmetic industry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to sulfate-free cleaning compositions that include a surfactant and a conditioning agent. A cleaning composition is described, containing: a) a surfactant system containing i) the first non-ionogenic surfactant, wherein the specified first non-ionogenic surfactant is PEG-80 sorbitan laurate in the amount of about 0.5-2% by weight of the cleaning composition; ii) the second non-ionogenic surfactant, wherein the specified second non-ionogenic surfactant is decyl glucoside in the amount from about 1% to 5% by weight of the cleaning composition; iii) an amphoteric surfactant, wherein the specified amphoteric surfactant contains betaine in the amount of about 3-5% by weight of the cleaning composition; and iv) two anionic surfactants, wherein one of two anionic surfactants is sodium cocoilisethionate, and the other one is sodium methylcoyltaurate, where sodium cocoilisethionate and sodium methylcoyltaurate present in a ratio from about 1:1 to about 1:5, wherein the amount of sodium cocoilisethionate in the cleaning composition is from about 0.4% to about 2.25% by weight, compared to the total weight of the cleaning composition, b) a conditioning agent, c) a preservative system, and d) a thickener. In this case, the specified cleaning composition does not contain a sulfate surfactant. The cleaning composition has an assessment of the softness of the action for the skin on the release of IL-1α of less than about 150 pg/ml, pH from about 3.5 to about 5.5, and a viscosity of about 1000-9000 centipoise at 25°C.

EFFECT: cleaning compositions provide softness of action, cleaning and/or conditioning properties, high transparency, adequate viscosity and slightly acidic pH.
