FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing thermoplastic polyurethane. This method involves the interaction of polybutylene glycol adipinate with a molecular weight of 1800-2000, a chain extender and 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate at a molar component ratio of 1:0.7:2, respectively. 2-bis-[4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)-phenyl]-propane is used as a chain extender. The method involves heating polybutylene glycol adipinate and 2-bis-[4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)-phenyl]-propane to a temperature of 60°C, then adding pre-melted 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate and stirring until a viscous mass is formed. Then they are poured into a mold and cured at a temperature of 100-120°C for a day, followed by exposure at room temperature for at least 14 days.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a thermoplastic polyurethane characterized by the absence of relative residual deformation at rupture.
