Device (110) for mounting camshaft (12) of an internal combustion engine with the possibility of rotation contains first case (14A) of a bearing with fastener (22A) for mounting camshaft (12) with the possibility of rotation, cylinder head (16) or support frame (30) for fixing first case (14A) of the bearing and first fastening means (18). First fastening means (18) fastens first case (14A) of the bearing to cylinder head (16) or support frame (30). First fastening means (18) is the only fastening means (18) that fastens first case (14A) of the bearing to cylinder head (16) or support frame (30). There is second case (14B) of the bearing with fastener (22B) for mounting camshaft (12). First case (14A) of the bearing and second case (14B) of the bearing together form a two-component support of the bearing. Fastener (22A) of first case (14A) of the bearing and fastener (22B) of second case (14B) of the bearing form a common fastener for camshaft (12). Alternatively, there is at least one positioning element that is installed between first case (14A) of the bearing or second case (14B) of the bearing from one side, and cylinder head (16) or support frame (30) from the other side for positioning first or second case (14A) or (14B) of the bearing relatively to cylinder head (16) or support frame (30). Alternatively, device (110) does not contain a positioning element for positioning first or second case (14A) or (14B) of the bearing relatively to cylinder head (16) or support frame (30). Alternatively, it contains one axis of valve lever (20) for mounting with the possibility of rotation the valve lever, in which first fastening means (18) additionally fastens the axis of valve lever (20) to cylinder head (16) or support frame (30).
