SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to gastroenterology and therapy; it is intended for increasing a number of Oscillospira species in a subject. At least one Lactobacillus plantarum strain is used in a method for increasing a number of Oscillospira species in a subject by injection of at least one Lactobacillus plantarum strain to achieve an increased number of Oscillospira species in a subject. In another embodiment, a method for increasing a number of Oscillospira species in a subject is presented, including injection to the subject of at least one Lactobacillus plantarum strain, while Lactobacillus plantarum is injected in the amount of 10³-10¹² KOE in a daily dose. A kit for use in the method for increasing a number of Oscillospira species in a subject is also provided for the treatment and/or prevention of dysbiosis of Oscillospira spp. Species.
