SUBSTANCE: invention refers to bacterial strains Bifidobacterium adolescentis DSM 16594, DSM 16595, Bifidobacterium breve DSM 16596 and Bifidobacterium pseudocatenulatum DSM 16597 and DSM 16598, deposited in German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures producing folic acid. The probiotic composition contains at least one of strains been listed. There is provided application of bacterial strain chosen from the group including strain Bifidobacterium adolescentis DSM 16594, DSM 16595, Bifidobacterium breve DSM 16596 and Bifidobacterium pseudocatenulatum DSM 16597 and DSM 16598 to prepare the pharmaceutical composition used for treatment or prevention of disorders requiring introduction of folic acid.
EFFECT: that ensures high content of folic acid in large intestines regardless condition of the healthy patient.
