FIELD: oil fields.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of development of oil fields, the layers of which are represented by water-saturated and oil-saturated zones, and is intended for isolating behind-the-casing flows in a well. A method for isolating behind-the-casing flows in a well with a water-and-oil-swellable packer includes drilling a field with wells crossing a formation consisting of water-saturated and oil-saturated zones. Investigation of oil-water-saturated formation zones and intervals of their occurrence. Running and fastening the casing string, followed by formation perforation in the oil-saturated zone of the formation. Assembly of an assembly consisting of a pipe string with a water-swellable packer. Installation of a water-and-oil-swellable packer in the interval of isolation of behind-the-casing flows, followed by its isolation with a packer after technological exposure. The technological time required for lowering the casing string into the well and its fastening is determined based on the analysis of the time spent on similar operations carried out at the same field. The assembly, in which casing strings are used as a pipe string, is lowered into the well after it has been drilled out. The water-swellable packer is placed outside the casing on the adhesive layer in the required interval. The packer is covered on the outside with a protective layer that swells and dissolves in the well fluid during the technological time. The outer diameter of the packer with a protective layer is made 5-20 mm less than the diameter of the drilled well in the isolation interval.
EFFECT: creation of an easy-to-implement method that makes it possible to reliably isolate behind-the-casing flows between water-saturated and oil-saturated zones while maintaining the flow area of the well along the entire length.
