FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to creation of insulating crossbar for overhead power transmission line with voltage up to 220 kV inclusive and its operation in ambient temperature range from -60 °C to +50 °C. Insulating crossbar with hinged rotary mechanism consists of lower clamp, rotary mechanism, lower insulator attachment, suspension, upper clamp, bracket, lanyard, upper suspended insulator, lower support insulator.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to exclude the effect of alternating loads, which lead to fatigue damages of linear fittings and breakage of wires, is characterized by reliability during a long period of operation in overhead transmission lines.
