FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electric transport and concerns the design features of energy-efficient asynchronous machines rotating with a phase rotor. The asynchronous machine, rotating with a phase rotor, includes a stator with a combined winding with a parallel connection of a "star" and a "triangle", a phase rotor with an integrated pulse-width controller (PWC) powered by the rotor winding. The PWC is controlled via a rotating transformer/transformers or optical isolation. There is a variant of the machine in which the rotor contains an additional winding that provides power to the PWC. There is also a variant of the machine in which the PWM is powered by a rotating transformer integrated into the machine.
EFFECT: increasing the energy efficiency of a wound rotor machine through the use of a CW stator, achieving high efficiency values in wide load ranges, increasing the reliability of a wound rotor machine, simplifying the control of a wound rotor machine, improving control in the range of low rotor speeds, reducing energy dissipation losses, downsizing of the control system.
