FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, mainly to production of inverted rotating electric machines with a squirrel-cage rotor, which can be used, for example, as energy-efficient motors of motor-wheels. Energy efficient inverted rotating asynchronous machine includes housing, external squirrel-cage rotor and stator with combined windings. Housing and one of the squirrel cage squirrel rings are made as a whole. There is a version of the machine, in which rods BR its rods are made with inclination of longitudinal axis of their cross section relative to radial direction towards the rotor rotation side.
EFFECT: increased heat removal from rotor.
