FIELD: water purification.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to remove salt and other impurities from seawater. The water purification and desalination system includes solar concentrators that receive sunlight and direct sunlight to multiple locations. Heat storage elements located at these locations absorb and convert solar radiation into thermal energy. Some of the heat storage elements include perforations to facilitate a change of state in a heat transfer fluid having a high salinity. The condenser condenses part of the heat transfer fluid using part of the heat transfer fluid as a refrigerant.
EFFECT: satisfaction of the need for consumption and replenishment of energy and drinking water reserves with minimal impact on the environment.
