FIELD: engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to blades of cycloidal rotors and cycloidal propellers. Blade for cycloidal propellers or cycloidal rotors, capable of, in response to commands of the control system, dynamically and in real time: bending along the chord in any way needed, changing the relative position of the rotation point, changing the planform by means of extending or retracting the trailing edge, which is possible differently at the right or at the left, rotating the flap along the trailing edge in one direction or the other, or letting the flap rotate impacted by flows. If necessary, said blade is also equipped with one or multiple elastic trailing edges, the rigidity whereof is changed by the control system dynamically and, if necessary, differently along the profile of the blade. To reverse the leading and trailing edges for the purpose of operation in the reverse airflow mode, or in other cases, the blades are equipped with edges capable of becoming rigid during operation as a leading edge and flexible during operation as a trailing edge. The blades are also configured to adjust the thickness of the cross-sectional profile and change the shape thereof. The blades also gain permeability to the passage of a flow on command along a large area of the surface thereof.
EFFECT: each blade controlled by a control system is constantly and optimally adapted to the current operating conditions and is used with maximum efficiency when moving along a trajectory at each rotation of the rotor.
