FIELD: fiberglass pipes production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of fiberglass pipes by continuous winding with polyurethane elastomer applied to the inner layer of the pipe by centrifugal casting and can be used in pipelines for transporting abrasive liquids, suspensions and slurry in the mining, mining and chemical industries. A method for manufacturing an abrasion-resistant fiberglass pipe coated with a polyurethane elastomer, including the steps at which: a fiberglass pipe is made, sand/shot blasting is carried out on the inner surface of the fiberglass pipe obtained in the previous step, a primer coating is applied to the treated inner surface of the pipe, the pipe is placed in a temperature-controlled chamber and carry out heating to a temperature of at least 80°C, a mixture of polyurethane elastomer prepare and contains: polyol 30.3-77.4 (wt.%), isocyanate 21.5-60.6 (wt.%), chain extender 1.1-9.1 (wt.%), the prepared mixture of polyurethane elastomer with a mass at a flow rate of 80-170 g/sec is sent through the pipeline to the surface of the fiberglass pipe, while the fiberglass pipe is rotated at a speed of 100-400 rpm and the pipeline is advanced at a speed of 0.7-1 m/min.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of adhesion of the polyurethane elastomer to the surface of the fiberglass pipe, achieving the maximum physical and mechanical properties of the polyurethane elastomer and ensuring long-term operation of the pipe and fittings in the conditions of transportation of highly abrasive media.
