FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed higher-reliability electrode for processing equipment exploits phenomena that accompany powerful electric discharge in water for crushing of stone and concrete, water decontamination, and cottonising of fibrous materials. Electrode comprises metal rod with insulation envelope. Priming layer is applied on said rod, while said envelope is cast from polyurethane elastomer. Invention covers also versions of said electrode.

EFFECT: higher reliability.
