FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to prevention of deposit formation (asphalt-resin-paraffin, salt, hydrate, etc.) on surface of pump rods (PR) and can be used for being applied on the body of pump rods and at production of hydrocarbon raw material with rod bore-hole pumps irrespective of operating conditions of the well and quality of produced raw material. Pump rod is covered with polyurethane coating with uniform thickness throughout the length of 0.5 to 1.0 mm, which has smooth surface, strong adhesion to metal surface, with Shore hardness of 70-95 A, with high abrasion resistance of up to 25 mg and maintaining the coating characteristics at temperatures of 60…+110°C. Application of coating is performed by means of the capacity lowered from upper point of the rod body to the lower one with speed of 0.1-0.2 m/s, installed in vertical position and exposure till complete hardening of the coating.
EFFECT: simplifying the manufacturing process and reducing the manufacturing costs.
