FIELD: vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tyre for vehicle wheels, containing at least one frame structure, a tread band applied in a position radially external to the frame structure, and a pair of sidewalls overlaid laterally on opposite sides relative to the frame structure. A label is applied to at least one sidewall from the pair of sidewalls, containing a protective layer, an adhesive layer, and possibly one or more paint layers placed between the protective layer and the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer attaches the label to the surface of the sidewall. The protective layer contains cross-linked aliphatic polyurethanes based on polyester and/or polyether, exhibiting values of the dynamic elasticity modulus E’ measured at 25°C, static tensile deformation of 1%, dynamic deformation of ± 0.1% and frequency of 1 Hz, equal to or above approximately 5 MPa, and residual deformation measured at 25°C after 4 deformation cycles from 0 to 12%, equal to or below approximately 1%.

EFFECT: increase in the service life of the label.
