FIELD: vehicle tires.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions related to tires for vehicle wheels, elastomeric compounds for these tires containing phenolic resins, and their production. An elastomeric composition for tires is described, containing per 100 parts by weight of rubber at least 100 parts by weight of at least one diene elastomer polymer (A), from 0.5 to 50 parts by weight of at least one phenolic product (B), optionally already partially cross-linked, wherein at least one phenolic product (B) is selected from phenol, ethylphenols, alkylphenols, halophenols, substituted monophenols, cresols, xylenols, bicyclic monophenols, polyphenols, novolacs and resols, from 0.5 to 100 parts by weight of at least one oxidized carbon allotrope (C), selected from oxidized carbon nanotubes, oxidized graphite, oxidized graphene and oxidized carbon black, from 0 to 50 parts by weight of at least one aldehyde or at least one methylene donor product, or a mixture thereof (D), wherein at least one aldehyde is selected from formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde, chloral, furfural , glyoxal, n-butylaldehyde, capronaldehyde, allylaldehyde, benzaldehyde, crotonaldehyde, acorolein, phenylacetaldehyde, o-tolylaldehyde, salicylaldehyde, wherein at least one methylene donor product is selected from paraformaldehyde, trioxane, tetraoxymethylene, hexamethylenetetramine (EMTA), hexamethoxymethylmelamine (EMMM), and from 0.1 to 15 parts by weight of at least one vulcanizing agent (F), wherein at least one vulcanizing agent (F) is selected from sulfur or sulfur-containing molecules (sulfur donors), such as caprolactam disulfide (CLD), bis[(trialkoxysilyl)propyl]polysulfides, dithiophosphates, phosphoryl polysulfide (SDT) and mixtures thereof. A vulcanizable elastomeric compound, a method for producing a vulcanizable elastomeric compound, a tire component, as well as a tire containing a tire component, and the use of at least one oxylated carbon allotrope as a crosslinking accelerator of at least one phenolic product in a vulcanizable elastomeric compound for tires are also described.
EFFECT: acceleration of secondary cross-linking reactions in elastomeric compounds for tires, if possible, without suppressing the vulcanization reaction with sulfur in order to obtain elastomeric compounds with stable mechanical properties.
