FIELD: storage.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to conveyor product distribution node (16) and an automated product and goods detection system using this node. Inventions can be used in customer self-service cash registers, as well as in automated warehouses in sorting of goods. The distribution node contains: at least one horizontal conveyor (3) to move products to detection node (2), at least two vertical conveyors (4) placed above at least one horizontal conveyor (3) and oriented at an angle to the axis of movement of horizontal conveyor (3), and at least one sensor (5) to determine a position of products on conveyors (3, 4). In this case, horizontal (3) and vertical conveyors (4) are made with the possibility of independent adjustment of rotational speed based on readings of at least one sensor (5).
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy and performance of automated detection of products with different shape, weight and dimensions, and simplification of using the automated system due to the absence of need for sequential product layout.
