SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a supply apparatus (1) for an automated production line, including a conveyor (2) along the course of the production line, a carrier trolley (3) for parts for transporting parts or groups of parts, in particular bodies, along the production line, wherein the production line includes transmission sections and workstations (4), and a conveyor (2) passes through said sections and workstations along the course of the production line. The conveyor (2) is formed as a single-track conveyor (7), preferably as a single-track conveyor (7) extending along the central longitudinal axis (L3) of the carrier trolley (3) for parts. The conveyor (2) has multiple drive rollers (11), wherein the carrier trolley (3) for parts includes a friction surface (22) whereby the carrier trolley (3) for parts is driven to motion by the rollers (11) of the conveyor (2), in particular, moves dynamically along the conveyor (2).
EFFECT: significantly less space is required for installation of the conveyor so that more constructive space is available for workstations, in particular robots; structure of a compact carrier trolley for parts with improved access for robots to the processed part or a group of parts, in particular the body, is provided.
