FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of railway transport, in particular, to coupling apparatuses and to rail vehicles equipped with such a coupling apparatus. Coupling apparatus is secured on the frame with a hinge and includes a coupling head and a closing apparatus. The closing apparatus surrounds only the coupling head or at least partially the coupling apparatus. In the longitudinal and circumferential directions, a distance is formed between the outer perimeter of the coupling apparatus and the closing apparatus. The closing apparatus is at least partially made of a flexible structure, wherein the flexible structure is at least partially supported by the coupling apparatus.
EFFECT: facilitated access to the functional elements of the coupling apparatus.
