FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, in particular to devices for cooling rotary drum coolers, which, as a rule, work together with rotary kilns. A jet sectional heat exchanger for cooling the surface of a rotating drum cooler contains a sectional casing, in which each section contains a fixed annular casing, made with the possibility of external location of the relative outer surface of the refrigerator, and a cylindrical shell with perforated holes, while an airtight annular visor is attached to the fixed annular casing, to which, with a gap and with the possibility of installation with a gap between the casing and the cooler, a cylindrical shell with perforated holes is attached, and each section at the air inlet from the previous section is equipped with a perforated annular manifold, which is an aerodynamic gate, made with the possibility of creating an air curtain and directing the reflected from the outer surface of the air cooler of the previous section into the gap between the casing and the perforated shell of the next section.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of utilization of the heat of the fired material and reducing energy consumption.
