FIELD: chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical technology and ecology and can be used in the industrial production of the base product for the electrolytic production of aluminum. A mixture containing ammonium fluoride (NH4F) as a fluorine-containing reagent and aluminum hydroxide (Al(OH)3) as an aluminum-containing reagent is prepared, and it is supplied in sprayed form to a zone with a temperature of 350-550°С. To obtain ammonium fluoride, waste fluorosilicic acid from the industrial production of phosphoric acid from apatite concentrate is treated with an ammonia solution and the resulting silicon dioxide (SiO2) is separated.
EFFECT: process of obtaining aluminum fluoride (AlF3) is ensured, its yield is increased, the environment is improved due to the use of waste products from the industrial production of phosphoric acid.
