FIELD: industrial inorganic syntheses. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to catch fluorine-containing gases by absorption followed by using obtained solution in aluminum fluoride production. Absorption is fulfilled by solution containing aluminum fluoride and 200-300 g/l of hydrofluorosilicic acid at F: Si molar ratio 5.5-6.5, the process being carried out for 3.0-3.5 h. EFFECT: simplified equipment and enhanced efficiency of subsequent aluminum fluoride isolation.
