METHOD FOR STERILIZATION OF BIOLOGICALLY HAZARDOUS EFFLUENTS AND A DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC C02F1/02 C02F9/00 A61L11/00 C02F103/20 C02F103/34

Abstract RU 2772668 C1

FIELD: waste processing.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to thermal cleaning and disinfection of biologically hazardous effluents (liquids). The method for sterilization of biologically hazardous effluents consists in the fact that they, with the help of an automated process control unit with actuators, are initially sent to a receiving tank, as it is filled, they are sent to a recuperative heat exchanger in which the contaminated effluents are preheated and sent to a temperature sterilization unit, after which the already heated and sterilized effluents they are cooled in the recuperative heat exchanger and drained into the sewer. The temperature sterilization unit contains at least three identical autoclave tanks connected in parallel, equipped with individual heaters and separate filling and draining valves, which are gradually and sequentially filled with contaminated effluents, and at the beginning of filling the last autoclave tank, in the first autoclave tank, the temperature sterilization process is completed and the discharge of heated sterilized effluents is opened, which through a regenerative heat exchanger where they are cooled, sent to the sewer, and the contaminated effluents coming through the recuperative heat exchanger from the tank to the first autoclave tank are heated. A device for implementing this method is also proposed.

EFFECT: creation of an energy-efficient process (method) for quasi-continuous sterilization of biologically hazardous effluents with their guaranteed sterilization is ensured, as well as an increase in the productivity of the device.
