FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a suspension of a vehicle wheel. The wheel suspension for a vehicle wheel driven by an electric or a pneumatic engine has an equaliser beam. In the first area (4), the equaliser beam is installed on the vehicle, configured to rotate around an axis (7) of rotation, and in the second area (8) is supported by the vehicle. The third area (10) of the equaliser beam (3) therein carries a part of the engine (2), non-rotating relative to the equaliser beam (3), so as to transmit torque to the wheel using the rotating part of the engine (2). The equaliser beam (3) is located at a sweep angle (17) lying in a first angular range from 10° to 25°, and at a slope angle (20) lying in a second angular range from 0° to 5°.
EFFECT: compactness, simplification, and increase in the strength of the wheel suspension are achieved.
