SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of building and is intended, in particular, for facing the external appearance of indoor columns. Profile for the facing system comprises interconnected base and hanging profiles, each with a stepped cross-sectional shape and consisting of two side faces and a central part. Grooves are made in the central face of the hanging profile for the hooks of the facing panel, containing notches along the longitudinal axis of the hanging profile. The base and hanging profiles jointly form an internal space for placing the hooks of the facing panel. Also described is a facing system including the profile for the system and a facing panel installed in the grooves of said profile and secured in the notches of the grooves by the hooks thereof. The profile for the system is configured for simultaneously hooking two adjacent panels, forming a single continuous facing surface.
EFFECT: increase in the strength and security of installation of the facing system.
