UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY DEVICE FOR COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS BASED ON A THREE-MACHINE UNIT Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC H02H7/16

Abstract RU 2772888 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering for uninterruptible power supply of communication systems. The device contains three sources: an industrial network, a diesel generator set and a storage battery. The first two sources are connected directly to the transfer switch, and the third one is connected through a rectifier. The three-machine unit contains two identical motors - non-contact DC motors, and a permanent magnet synchronous alternator. The generator is located between the parallel and continuously operating first and second engines. Each of the first and second motors contains connected in series: a synchronous motor with permanent magnets, a rotor position sensor, a pulse shaper and an inverter connected to the stator winding of the synchronous motor, while the inverters of both motors are connected to DC buses supplied with the third source.

EFFECT: increasing frequency stability and improving working conditions during transients.
