FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used as a device for guaranteed power supply to consumers of critical facilities. Electric machine of guaranteed power supply comprises a first power source, which is an industrial network with a rectifier and a second source, as which the accumulator battery is used, at that, in the positive wire of the battery there is an isolating diode, both sources form common DC buses, the first electric machine unit, second electric machine unit and third electric machine unit, said units are identical and are connected in parallel to each other, wherein in each unit two electrical machines are installed: contactless DC motor and synchronous generator with permanent magnets, wherein said motor comprises an inverter, a pulse former, a rotor position sensor and a synchronous motor, wherein the inverter is connected to the common DC buses, the transistors are controlled by a pulse former, which receives signals from the rotor position sensor, mounted on the first end of the synchronous motor shaft, and second end of said shaft is connected to shaft of synchronous generator with permanent magnets, stator winding of synchronous motor is connected to inverter, and stator winding of synchronous generator with permanent magnets is connected to common load buses to which consumers are connected.

EFFECT: this device is more economical than the known ones and its efficiency exceeds that of a three-machine unit by almost 25%; besides, reliability of the proposed device is higher than reliability of existing units, since it uses advanced electric machines, it is distinguished by absence of voltage drops when changing energy sources and high accuracy of frequency of rotation of a shaft of synchronous generators.
