FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to fruit growing. The method consists in spring pruning of the crown. Within 3 years, a crown-shaped crown is formed by cutting frozen branches into 30-40 cm stumps in the spring, 3-5 stumps in quantity, obtaining 2-3 vertical fruit-bearing branches from dormant fruit buds in the 1st year. In summer, all lateral shoots on these branches are removed. In the 2nd year, 3-4 new vertical fruiting shoots up to 1.5 m in size are additionally formed on each received autonomous branch.
EFFECT: method ensures the restoration of heavily frozen tree crowns in intensive plantings in the first year after pruning, obtaining a plum fruit harvest in the range of 20 t/ha and higher for the 2nd year after pruning, a high yield of 30 t/ha for the 3rd year, as well as reducing the recovery period.
