FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanics, namely to a horizontal spiral compressor. The compressor contains a housing 1 with high and low-pressure cavities 2 and 3, movable and fixed spirals 5 and 6, an oil system. The oil system includes an oil separator 7, located in the cavity 2, and an oil cooler 8 in the cavity 3. To capture oil from the lower part of the housing 1, an intake is made. The intake penetrates into a container consisting of four plates. The two side plates are mounted vertically parallel to each other. The fourth plate, vertical in the upper part is attached to the body, tangentially to its surface, and in the lower and side parts, respectively, to the lower and side plates. The lower plate is located at an angle tangent to the surface of the housing in its lower part, and on the upper side, perpendicular to its surface, partitions are made in contact with the ends of the side plates. The height of the partitions decreases towards the fourth plate.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at creating a horizontal spiral compressor that provides constant oil intake when operating at high angular speeds and variable modes.
