SUBSTANCE: invention relates to carbon nanotubes (CNT) having high structural uniformity and low impurity levels. The proposed multi-walled carbon nanotubes have a uniform length and a purity above 99%, and the Raman spectra of these nanotubes have an Id/Ig ratio of about 0.76.
EFFECT: resulting nanotubes are of exceptional purity, uniform length, and do not require expensive purification after synthesis.
