SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to a composition for the prevention and treatment of constipation. An oral composition for the prevention or treatment of constipation is proposed, containing a combination of Plantago psyllium seed extract and/or Plantago ovata seed extract in the amount from 200 mg to 5 g as a daily dose, glucomannan in the amount from 200 mg to 5 g as a daily dose, and an extract of chamomile Matricaria chamomilla flowers in the amount from 30 to 700 mg as a daily dose in a mixture with a suitable acceptable carrier.
EFFECT: above-described composition allows for the effective treatment and prevention of constipation.
