FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to devices for testing dental crowns for wear. The device for testing dental crowns for wear contains a plate with glued strain gauges made with the possibility of transmitting a signal through an amplifier and an analog-to-digital converter to a computer and a cycle number sensor. The shock absorbers of the plate with strain gauges are fixed on an additional plate mounted on threaded rods, on which there are adjusting nuts made with the ability to move the plate up and down to increase or decrease the value of the pressure force of the crowns on the abrasive.
EFFECT: simplifying the setting of the required value of the pressure force when testing dental materials for wear resistance.
