FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure and can be used in the manufacture of a rod with thickenings. The device contains a housing, a cage with a cavity in the form of a truncated cone, in which half-matrices, an ejector, a pusher and a shank are placed. A working insert with a through cylindrical cavity is located in the cavity of the housing and fixed in its bottom part. A spring is placed on the outer surface of the insert. A cup is fixed on the bottom of the housing, in which a spring with a piston and an ejector are placed. A punch with a spring-loaded pushing sleeve is installed in the shank, the open end of which has an annular section and a conical chamfer. The cage is placed in the cavity of the housing in front of the working insert and is fixed on the side of its bottom part by a spring, and on the side of the open end of the housing by diametrically mounted clamps in the housing. In the cavity of the cage, two pairs of stops are diametrically fixed, located in contact with the fixing grooves on the outer conical surface of the matrix.
EFFECT: technological capabilities of the device are expanded and productivity is increased.
