SUBSTANCE: clamp for connecting external conductors includes a clamp base in the form of a rectangular-section chute with beveled sidewalls with inwardly curved edges forming slots, an L-shaped conductive bar with a hole on the short side, with the long side thereof in the clamp base, a wedge-shaped hold-down clamp in the form of a chute with beveled sidewalls and a flat base and a back wall with a threaded hole, a bolt set in the hole of the conductive bar and screwed into the threaded hole of the back wall of the wedge-shaped hold-down clamp, moving along the conductive bar when the bolt is screwed, clamping the external conductor inserted between the bottom of the clamp base and the conductive bar.

EFFECT: ensured strong connection of external conductors to electrical devices on passage of high currents.
