FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely therapeutic dentistry, and is intended for use in the treatment of chronic generalized periodontitis. Dental deposits are removed from the teeth of the upper and lower jaws, they are dried. The administration of drugs applied to a device modeled using wax based on an impression of silicone mass from the area of the jaw affected by periodontitis and made of metal by casting is carried out. At the same time, retraction wells are made in the device for applying the medicinal substance and a handle-holder is fixed to hold it in the interdental spaces. With the help of the device, the gingival wall of the periodontal pocket is pushed back. The device is pressed against the crown part of the tooth and held on periodontal tissues under pressure for at least 5 minutes, the therapeutic effect is carried out once a day, and the course of treatment includes at least 10 procedures. Adhesive gum balm “Asepta”, gel “Metrogyl denta”, gel “Periodontocide” can be used as a drug.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible, due to accurate, local application of drugs to dried tissues, to increase the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of using drugs and ensure their uniform distribution in periodontal pockets.
