FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and aims at treating periodontitis and gingivitis. Preparation for treating periodontitis consists of the following components, wt%: dry extract of black samson echinacea (Echinacea angustifolia) - 4.0 (4 %), chlorhexidine bigluconate - 0.05 (0.05 %) and organosilicon glycerogel Si(C3H7O3)4·6C3H8O3·24H2O up to 100.0. Transcutaneous activity of the hydrophilic base preparation allows not only using low concentration of active medicinal agents, but leads to deeper penetration of specific preparation in the affected tissue.
EFFECT: proposed preparation for treating periodontitis is convenient form for local application has high regenerative ability, immunomodulatory properties and pronounced disinfectant antibacterial, antiviral and antimycotic action, enables to achieve high therapeutic effect.
