FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular to a panel of floor, wall or ceiling. The panel includes a core and a decorative upper layer. The core contains sheet material based on magnesium oxide. At least at two opposite ends, the panel is provided with a connecting means providing mutual locking of two such panels. Sheet material based on magnesium oxide contains at least a reinforcing layer, preferably a fiberglass layer. The mechanical connecting means is essentially made as a connection of a tab and a groove. At ends of the groove, there are an upper lip and a lower lip that passes in the horizontal direction behind the upper lip. The reinforcing layer continuously passes in the lower lip.

EFFECT: increase in the strength of a panel.
