FIELD: computing technology.

SUBSTANCE: method for receiving an optical scanning signal (variants) relates to the field of computing technology and is intended for use in optoelectronic systems for detecting an object in a preset area. Method includes one first selective activation of optical emitters from multiple light emitters arranged along the perimeter of a preset area, with a first energy characteristic for receiving one first part of the optical scanning signal, wherein the first activation has a first energy characteristic, and one second selective activation of light emitters with a second energy characteristic for receiving one second part of the optical scanning signal, wherein the first energy characteristic provides a first probability of successful detection of an object and the second energy characteristic provides a second probability of successful detection of an object.

EFFECT: maintained characteristics of efficiency of the detection system, such as the reliability of detection, productivity, activity coefficient, and energy spent by the system in order to detect an object, while the size of the sensing area of the detection system is increased.
