FIELD: physical chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method for preparing a catalyst for acid-base reactions based on high-silica zeolite of the MFI type is described, including hydrothermal synthesis of zeolite powder from silica gel or a mixture of silica gels of various compositions in the presence of butyl alcohol, in the presence of a high degree of crystallinity MFI zeolite seed, when heated, including the removal of butyl alcohol and acid ion exchange with a solution of nitric acid, selective ion exchange of lanthanum nitrate solution at a concentration of 2-6 g/l in the presence of sulfosalicylic acid as a chelating agent followed by washing, granulation, drying and steam treatment of zeolite, characterized in that after achieving 100% crystallinity of the synthesized MFI zeolite powder during hydrothermal synthesis, further synthesis is carried out for 4-6 hours in the same conditions in the most conditions without replacing the mother liquor, the zeolite obtained as a result of synthesis is additionally treated with a solution of lanthanum nitrate at a concentration of 2-6 g/l at a temperature of 70-100°C without the use of chelating agents, calcination at a temperature no higher than 520°C is used as the final heat treatment.

EFFECT: catalysts, prepared by the described method, have high activity, selectivity and stability of catalytic action.
