FIELD: physical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method is described for preparing a catalyst for acid-base reactions based on high-silica zeolite of the MFI type, including hydrothermal synthesis of zeolite powder from silica gel or a mixture of silica gels of various compositions in the presence of butyl alcohol, in the presence of a high degree of crystallinity MFI zeolite seed, when heated, including the removal of butyl alcohol and acid ion exchange with a solution of nitric acid, conducting selective ion exchange with lanthanum nitrate solution at a concentration of 2-6 g/l in the presence of sulfosalicylic acid as a chelating agent followed by washing, granulation, drying and steam treatment of zeolite, characterized in that after reaching 100% crystallinity of the synthesized zeolite powder, hydrothermal synthesis of MFI zeolite powder is continued for 4-6 hours under the same conditions without replacing the mother liquor.
EFFECT: catalysts prepared by the described method have high activity, selectivity and stability of catalytic action.
