FIELD: furnaces.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for producing chemical current sources (CCS) and can be used in production of thermal CCS wherein the used materials need to be subjected to heat treatment in vacuum. Vacuum furnace comprises a body with a chamber for the heat-treated material and an end cover secured on the body, heater units equipped with electrical and heat insulation, a vacuum system with an outlet branch pipe, a temperature control and adjustment system. Three shelves are made inside the chamber, with three trays with covers placed thereon for the heat-treated material in the form of a mixture, and heater units, the chamber has a length, width and height ensuring placement of three trays for the heat-treated material in the form of a mixture with a length of 400 to 420 mm, width of 300 to 320 mm, and height of 40 mm, ventilation channels are made in the space between the inner surface of the body and the external surface of the chamber, the temperature control and adjustment system comprises thermocouples located on the surface of the heater units, flexible thermocouples located in the inner space of the trays, and a control unit providing the required heating rate of the material.

EFFECT: reduced scrap losses of the resulting product due to the increase in the uniformity of heating of the powdered material, eliminated carry-over thereof in the form of dust, and minimised furnace cooling time.
