FIELD: calibration equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed installation refers to the means and equipment that provides calibration and graduation of thermoelectric converters in the temperature range above 2000 K. The high-temperature installation for calibrating thermocouples contains a housing made of refractory material, a heater with current leads placed inside the housing, heat-resistant electrical insulators in a protective tube. The body is made of heat-insulating material in the form of a parallelepiped with a through inner cylindrical hole and two end caps. The heater of the installation is made of four radiators, which are connected in series with each other. The heater is installed inside the housing opening, and the heater current leads coming from the radiators are placed in the grooves of the end caps and removed from the installation housing far from the heating zone. Along the axis of the hole on heat-resistant screens built into the end caps, a high-temperature protective tube is fixed with annular heat-resistant disks evenly spaced inside - electrical insulators for fastening thermocouples. The high-temperature pipe is made with a ratio of its length to diameter equal to 25.
EFFECT: providing a simplification of the thermocouple calibration procedure while improving the accuracy of measurements with a calibrated thermocouple.
