FIELD: electric power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electric power industry, namely to autonomous AC power plants based on an internal combustion engine (ICE) and a synchronous generator, and is intended for generating electricity of a stable frequency and a stable voltage at a variable speed of the ICE shaft. The problem to be solved is the creation of a highly efficient autonomous AC power plant. The effect result is achieved by the fact that in an autonomous AC power plant containing series-connected internal combustion engines of variable speed with a unit connected to it for generating the optimal speed of the internal combustion engine shaft, made in the form of blocks: setting the economical speed of the internal combustion engine shaft, signal adder, speed sensor ICE shaft and ICE shaft speed controller, multi-winding synchronous generator, commutator, controlled rectifier, voltage inverter with an output voltage frequency generator connected to it, a current sensor to which a load power calculation unit is connected, the output of which is connected to the unit for setting the economical speed of the internal combustion engine shaft, the switch and the controlled rectifier connected in series with it are excluded, and between the outputs of the winding groups of the multiwinding. The synchronous generator and the voltage inverter include controlled rectifiers, which are connected to the rectifier control unit connected to the output of the ICE shaft speed sensor.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of an autonomous power plant with a variable speed, provided that the output voltage of the autonomous power plant is stabilized and the fuel consumption of the internal combustion engine, which is part of the generator set, is minimized by choosing the optimal speed of its shaft rotation when the load power changes from zero to the nominal value.
