FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electric power industry, namely to autonomous AC power plants based on internal combustion engines and a synchronous generator, and is designed to generate electricity of stable frequency and stable voltage at a variable frequency of the engine shaft rotation. Problem to be solved is the creation of a highly efficient autonomous AC power plant. In a self-contained AC power plant comprising a series of interconnected ICEs of variable speed, a synchronous generator, a two-link frequency converter configured as blocks: a controlled rectifier, a capacitor bank and a voltage inverter, a current sensor to which the load power calculation unit is connected, the output of which is connected to the unit for setting the economical speed of the shaft of the internal combustion engine, raising the transformer and output terminals, between the step-up transformer and the output terminals there is a two-link frequency converter, made in the form of blocks: an uncontrolled rectifier, a capacitor bank and a voltage inverter.
EFFECT: technical result of the proposed invention is a reduction in the weight and dimensions of an autonomous power plant.
